I took a colorful garland (super cute, just didn’t match the theme in my home) and gave it a little glow up! Pretty simple little DIY!
Here’s what I used:
•Wood bead garland – out of stock, but here are some similar ones
•Black acrylic paint
•White acrylic paint
•Sponge brushes
•Jute twine

I first painted the stars black and white (every other). It’s a little tricky since they’re made of wicker so I just applied/sponged the paint thicker to them. Once those were dry (I waited a day), I painted the beads gray (just mixed the white and black colors to a gray I liked – or you can pick up another acrylic color but I just wanted to use what I had!). After they were dry on one side, I flipped it over and did the other so they’d be uniform.

After another day or so I took the garland and made tassels out of the jute twine I had on hand. Added them in between the stars (just tied them onto the main garland string). Cute right?

Let me know if you try it!!!
