It took me a while to get to Colly’s closet after Honey’s and The Boys’ – but last October I finally tackled it! I knew I wanted to use a lot of the same products I used for Honey’s as far as all of the hair items and accessories. I had purchased extra of these pink bins in all different sizes, they truly are so great for storing all of the things! We like them for pony tails, headbands, sunglasses, and more! Sometimes you can find them in bundles and save a little $ if you know you’re going to need several!
I lined the back of her closet wall with this peach wallpaper, I love the colors!! I decided to line the shelf as well and pull out a color from the peach wallpaper that wasn’t peach/pink so I went with this green herringbone design. Once those were done, I added this frame and a graphic I made at home with Colly’s family nickname. It just adds a personalized touch which I think is really sweet.
On the other side I keep all of the clothes that need to be hung, along with these pink pom pom baskets. Unfortunately these are out of stock now, but I’ll link some super cute similar ones here! TIP: This is something I carry over to EVERY closet I organize! Make sure you use the same style of hanger for everything! This creates a very uniform, clean, and cohesive look!!! We’ve always used these cheap-y ones that last forever.
For Colly’s bows, I liked the idea of being able to see them easier at a glance, so I found these faux leather clip organizers and hung them all in a row. They actually hold quite a bit! On the bottom of her closet I used these tufted baskets. I will admit, these are a little on the spendy for one basket, however, they live up to the price!! They’re stylish and very deep! I keep her shoes, some weekender bags for trips, and blankets in these.
On Colly’s very top shelf (which you definitely need a tall step stool or ladder for!) I used some left over baskets (seen below) I had on her changing table. I also will link the step stool we love and matches the closet vibe too! 🙂
Hope you enjoyed her closet tour and it gave you some inspo to organize your kiddo’s, too!
