Bread Ingredients
1 c flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 /4 tsp salt
3/4 c sugar
1/4 c milk
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
2 eggs
1/2 c melted butter
3 ripe bananas
Cream Cheese Topping Ingredients
4 oz cream cheese
2 tbsp flour
2 tbsp sugar
1 egg
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 and grease your loaf pan. Start making your bread mixture by combining flour, baking soda and salt in one bowl. In a separate bowl, combine eggs, butter, vanilla, sugar, and milk. Add wet ingredients to the dry and then add mashed bananas to the combined mixture.
Next start the cream cheese mixture. Combine all ingredients together in a new bowl and set aside.
Take your banana batter and transfer half to your loaf pan. Spread it evenly. Next take your cream cheese mix and layer it on top of the banana mix in the pan. Last, take the remaining banana mix and add it on top of the cream cheese mix. Bake for 50-60 min until golden brown.
I always make a double batch to either freeze or give to friends and family. It’s so easy and good for breakfast or a snack! Enjoy!
