Back before twinning with your mini was the most “in” thing to do on IG, when I had Conner in 2013 I was obsessed with finding us things to coordinate in. Just because I had a little boy, it wasn’t going to stop me! Some of my most fave memories of us that first year, we were wearing coordinating attire 🙂 Every baby I’ve had since him, I’ve found ways to do this and it’s kinda become a little hobby.
Now that Honey is older (turning 5 in July!), she voluntarily asks to twin with me, which makes it all the more fun.
For this week’s edition of #TryItTuesday, I’m sharing our matching mama & me outfits! We both looove the band tee trend (we have a few – but this Johnny Cash set is prob my fave!). My tee is actually in a mens, so if you purchase, keep that in mind! I just went with my regular unisex size I often opt for myself. I found these cute little acid washed jean shorts for Hun a few weeks on major sale and had to scoop them up because they reminded me of mine that I’ve had for several years now. We’re both wearing our Vans (Hun has this tie dye pair my mom recently got her!) and mine are the ward lo style.
I’m planning on rotating in a couple of mama and mini round ups in the next few weeks for Try It Tues, and I’ll try to make sure some are gender neutral too. The tees we’re wearing are definitely doable for mama and son or even dad and son!!
