Let’s get into the recipe!
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 yellow onion
1 tbsp minced garlic
24 oz your fave marinara sauce
2 c beef broth
3 c bowtie noodles
1 c mozzarella
3/4 c ricotta cheese
Parsley (garnish, optional)
Directions
Cook beef in a medium-high heat skillet with onion and garlic (+ salt and pepper!) until brown. Drain off excess fat and add marinara sauce, broth, and noodles. Bring the skillet to a boil, mixing around the noodles so that they’re well incorporated into the liquid. Reduce heat to medium-low heat and simmer for 20 minutes or until noodles are al dente.
Stir in mozzarella cheese and then dot the top of the skillet with the remaining ricotta and cover for 2-4 minutes to let everything melt together. Garnish with parsley if desired and serve immediately.
