If you’re still looking for an idea for Easter baskets or to try something new at home with your kids, this post is for you! We had the opportunity to work with BabbleBoxx to showcase some products that we’re using in our home this spring!
Magic Mixies Color Surprise Magic Cauldron
Right now, Honey (5) is super into anything that combines imaginative play and some sort of craft/DIY. We’ve actually passed by the Magic Mixies while shopping at Target, so she was very familiar when it arrived to our house! It definitely combines both elements, with it’s new color changing reveal and magically creating a plush! She couldn’t wait to start adding the Bubble ‘N’ Fizz Dust to the cauldron and watch the magic appear before her eyes. It was so much fun to watch her light up as the colors changed and the dust revealed who and what was inside! Along with the plush, was a color changing wand and magic elixir. Honey thought it was so neat to see the water in the magic elixir change and then use it to change the gem on the plush’s face too!
Manhattan Toy
Do your kids love to play pretend kitchen/chef/baker as much as mine? I knew when I saw this Bunny Hop Mixer from Manhattan Toy that it be perfect in Honey’s pretend kitchen area. It is adorable for a toddler Easter basket, but can absolutely be used year round! Along with the adorable wood bunny mixer, it also included 10 different pretend food and cookware pieces that will be used to whip up all of the “delicious” imaginary food. Honey got to work right away and made me some “butter” with it, using the handle between the bunny ears to lift the wooden mixer blades and while turning mushroom to make them spin! Right now you can save 20% site wide on Easter gifts at manhattantoy.com through March 30! No code required.
Build A Bear
There’s a new spring collection that just launched at Build-A-Bear, right in time for Easter gifting! There are so many cute basket stuffers offered this year that are bright and colorful and sure to bring lots of smiles! We received the cutest longhorn stuffed friend who was rocking some bright and festive spring colors along with the most adorable bunny ears! Whether you go in person to a Build-A-Bear Workshop or select a gift online this Easter season, there’s sure to be something for everybunny!
Baby Magic
With spring comes new changes to the weather and our family’s sensitive skins usually takes the brunt of it. Enter Baby Magic! Their Soothing Hair & Body Wash is specifically formulated for sensitive skin, which is so helpful for the Disney Kids! It has a hypoallergenic formula to leave skin feeling it’s best – soft and hydrated! It is also sulfate and dye and tear-free. I can feel reassured using it – no more worrying about soap bubbles stinging eyes! After wash time is over, we’ve been following up with Baby Magic’s Creamy Whipped Butter which smells so calming with vanilla and oat scent. It leaves their skin feeling nourished, hydrated, and silky smooth! The Creamy Whipped Butter is also formulated without parabens, dyes, or mineral oils and is also hypoallergenic!
French Toast Apparel
It’s not often that I get to share boys’ fashion these days, but when I do it makes me so happy! Both of my boys (Conner, 10 and Cole, 8) are much into their own style, but one thing I still have a bit of influence on is their school wear! The kids attend a school that has a mandatory uniform policy, but we are able to pick from certain styles that will be appropriate for the weather and their comfort. I was introduced to French Toast Apparel for the first time this year, and I am loving all of their premium school wear staples. I knew for this project I wanted to share how versatile their Short Sleeve Pique Polo is. The kids cannot wear black in their specific uniform, but, I thought this was a great option for an elevated out to dinner/weekend look. It’s classic enough for the classroom but also comfortable enough for the playground! Conner is all about being comfortable and is an active 10 year old boy, so having something that looks put together yet still allows him feel relaxed is key.
For the bottoms, I chose the French Toast Double Knee Relaxed Fit Pant that he can pair with his uniform top for a classic every day look. They have tons of stretch and room and are also slim fitting to bring the whole outfit together. I’ll be honest, Conner is pretty hard on his clothing, especially at recess. It seems like once a month a new hole appears in his pants, but I don’t have to worry about that anymore thanks to French Toast’s Reinforced seam-to-seam Power Knees® for extra strength. Conner is lean, so having an adjustable waist is also essential. He even commented to me that these fit him so much better than uniform pants in the past! Right now you can take advantage of 20% off the sale collection, no code needed!
I hope this post sparked some inspiration for Easter basket ideas as well as some products to consider using this spring! Be sure to stay tuned to the blog for more festive ideas as we move more into spring and summer (my fave!)
