To be honest, all I look forward to on Mother’s Day is a quiet day with my family and having the opportunity to spend a little time with my own mama. I know Mother’s Day can be very difficult for some, so for all of those struggling on this day I am thinking of you and praying for brighter days ahead.
I’ve rounded up a couple of items that I own and can personally recommend as I’ve purchased them, tried them, and loved them! There are a few others that are affordable and then a couple that I think would just make a nice gift.
Let’s start with the items I own from this list so I can tell you why I recommend them as a gift or treat for yourself!
The high rise dolphin shorts are new to Target. At under $13, the price is definitely right too and I’ll be living in these all summer. They have a few other colors to choose from too!!!
The Vans Cayucas Slides I also own and are super comfy. Feels like you’re walking on a cloud!!
I recently bought myself another Dutch oven and this one from Walmart by Drew Barrymore’s line heats up really nice and evenly, and is also aesthetically pleasing! It’s large too, so it can hold a lot. Easy to wash and I definitely recommend if you’re in the market for a DO!
I own a BURST toothbrush already (C gifted me one a couple years ago for Xmas, which will be a story for another day 😂) but omg I am obsessed with it and have been wanting to try their flosser. They had them marked down just recently so I grabbed one (flossing and taking care of your teeth is so so important!). I have a feeling it’s going to be just as amazing as their toothbrushes — I’ll never go back to any other brush or brand after using theirs. You can take 10% off your first order with BURST with this link and using the code BURST10. They would make a great gift for grandma or another sweet mom friend in your life, too!!
Last two things I personally own from this gift guide – these nail polishes + my diaper bag backpack. I plan to talk more about this bag in another blog post soon, but it is a great option if you’re looking for a diaper bag/backpack combo. It’s not bulky/awkward on your back (like some of the other high end brands I’ve tried) and is a fraction of their prices too. The storage space is something I really love, too. For the nail polish – I found these last summer and own a bunch of colors now. They have a similar price point to Essie but actually stay on longer without chipping.
Whatever you do or however you end up spending *your day*, I hope it’s filled with lots of love and happy moments!!!
