#ad Can you believe it’s already that time to start thinking about Easter!? Today I’m going to be sharing some Easter basket ideas with BabbleBoxx and Moose Toys that spark imaginative and repetitive play! These toys are so versatile and can be enjoyed by boys and girls alike!
First on this round up are the Shopkins Real Littles – Snack Time! There’s a huge range of our favorite real brands that are now hiding inside these new Mini Packs! This pack features series 17, which has over 55 new Real Littles Figures to collect! Honey (age 5) had the best time opening each to see what surprise was inside, and immediately went making them talk and interact with each other! It was so fun to watch her light up over these cute figures! You can discover different yummy desserts, savory snacks, frozen foods, and drinks with this new series!! This is a great basket stuffer for your little one who loves imaginative play (mixed with their fave snacks!)
Have you ever heard of Treasure X Dino Gold Armored Eggs?! This was our first experience with them, and let me tell you, it didn’t disappoint!!!! Cole couldn’t wait to get his hands on this egg from the moment he saw it. When you open up the golden egg, you are able to squeeze out the dino parts and accessory amongst the ooze which is great sensory play! Once he found all of the parts he was able to easily assemble the dinosaur, and move onto taking the special tool to open the fossil piece! Once it was open he could sift thru the dino dust to find another treasure. It was an adventure from start to finish!
Next up are two Real Littles Micro Crafts! These can be enjoyed by both boys and girls and are so fun, and an easy to manage craft that takes minutes to complete but can be enjoyed again and again! Both Honey and Cole loved setting these up with Dad – filling the bulb for the unicorn craft and the ‘tank’ for the globes! The kids had fun taking turns and arranging where each micro item would go. Once they were complete, they loved seeing the final product and being able to shake the globes to see the glitter spread throughout!
Another item excellent toy to consider for a basket this year would be Little Live Pets Surprise Chick!!! Not only is it fitting for Easter time, but it provides endless imaginative and repetitive play long past the holiday! This brand is one of Honey’s FAVORITES – she loves collecting them all! This one is so special because it “hatches” out of its egg un-eggpectedly (see what I did there? ;)) and she loves the interaction with chirping and hopping it does! The Surprise Chick has so many different chicks to discover! Another really cool element about this toy is you can place the Surprise Chick back inside of the egg and let it hatch again and again promoting repeat play and excitement! It’s also super portable and when she’s heading over to Grandma’s house, she can pack her Surprise Chick and egg inside of her purse and head out the door with it for more play!
Last, but definitely not least, this is one basket filler my boys are so excited for! Many of you who follow us know that our boys are very immersed in Jiu Jitsu right now as an organized sport and it is a huge passion of theirs! They already own a couple of these Heroes of Goo Jit Zu Glow Shifters, and were so excited to add this Blazagon Hero to their line up! What’s really neat about these toys is inside each there is a glow shifter at the core that can be squished to release and changes the look of the body!!! This activates their goo-formation!!! Keep watching and over time, the goo changes the color of the hero’s body. They’re also super stretchy and now that my boys each have a couple of these fighters, they love simulating moves they do in real life! It’s fun watching my boys even at the ages they are now still enjoying imaginative play, especially when it correlates so strongly to their current phase of life!
I hope this gives you a few ideas of Easter basket finds you may not have known about before!! If you add any of these to your baskets this year, I’d love to see! Make sure to tag me @disneysinthedesert so I can take a peek! Happy Easter!
