So easy, so simple, and SO GOOD! Add whatever veggies/meats you like with my recipe down below.

You can definitely freeze them and store then reheat later! The kiddos love these! ☺️

This post includes a gifted product, but opinions and thoughts are all my own. Thank you for supporting the brands that support our blog!
I recently shared that within the last few weeks we have gotten Colly transitioned from the mini crib in our room to her crib in her nursery. This transition has been super smooth thanks to Dreamland Baby Co. and their weighted sleep sack. It’s designed to help baby fall asleep faster and stay asleep LONGER. I’ve noticed it’s helped with extending her sleeping stretches where she used to wake as early as 4-5am to now 7, sometimes even 8am!!
It’s gentle weight is less than 10% of the baby’s body weight and is safety certified and doctor approved. What’s great about it too is the weight is evenly distributed from the shoulders to the toes.
Ok so if you’re like me, you’re probably wondering, “what if my baby rolls/stands/sits up – can they use this?” Y E S !!!! The sack does not restrict movement – they can do everything they could do in a non-weighted sleep sack. The medium and large sizes can also be worn backwards for exclusive tummy sleepers. The inner beads are gentle and rounded so they won’t be uncomfortable for baby if they do lay on the weighted side.
We live in the desert (obvi!) and it’s hot year round, but I’m not worried about her being too hot because the fabric the product is made of is super light weight and breathable. Another cool aspect of this design is the two way zippers for easy diaper changes #hallelujah It’s machine washable too so don’t stress over it your baby spits up on it (for those of you with a Colly haha).
The creators of Dreamland Baby Co gave me a coupon to share with my readers and followers to save on your purchase site wide! They also have weighted blankets for older kiddos, and bundles which are awesome for gifting. Code: ANG15 at check out! Click here to check them out and get one for your baby or the next baby shower you attend! These would make an excellent (and much appreciated!) gift!!!
Thank you so much, Dreamland Baby Co!!
*we’ve lovingly revised the name of these due to my second born’s obsession with them! (Nickname: Bug 😆)

Ingredients
•1 lb gr beef (lean)
•1 lb gr sausage (mild)
•1 c breadcrumbs (I like Italian)
•1 egg
•1/4 tsp chili powder
•1/4 tsp onion powder
•1/4 tsp garlic powder
•2 tsp minced garlic
•2/3 c diced white onion
•1/4 tsp pepper
•1 tsp salt
Spray the inside of your crockpot with nonstick cooking spray. Mix all ingredients together at once. I will use a curved spatula to mix everything then toward the end I’ll use my hands to really incorporate it all together. I use a tbsp measured to scoop the meat – I do a “heaping” tbsp. This just helps me get an idea of the size so they’re all uniform. Then roll it into a nicer shaped ball. Add each to the inside of your crockpot until meat is gone. They will kind of look like mini golf balls.
I *do not* cover them with any extra sauces. I just let them cook as is (they will release their own juice/sauce from the sausage!) Cook on high for about 3 hours. Around then, check them (my crockpot heats up really well/fast) so at that mark, if they’re not cooked through, you can set it to low and let them cook another 30-45 min.
These are great for appetizers, meatball sub sandwiches, or in pasta bakes/casseroles! Lots of ways to dress them up or down. Cole LOVES meatballs and will just eat them plain!
We’ve also been in a time crunch in the last few months and I’ve made them in the oven. So instead of slow cooking them for 3-4 hours I will throw them in the oven at 400 degrees for about 25 minutes or so and they come out just as delicious! My husband actually prefers them this way.
Tag me if you make them! I’d love to see! @disneysinthedesert
