As moms, we never stop doing laundry, amiright?! I wish I could add up the total amount of hours I spend on it a year (can you imagine? Lol) or even a month. It’s never ending over here with 4 kids + 2 adults!! #laundryismylife While it’s not actually my whole life, I know I spend so much time each week doing it and can confidently say I have it down to a better science for our family.
I can’t say I “enjoy” it but finding things that have worked well have made it much easier to get through. I thought I’d round up my fave laundry products in the last few years. Stains are inevitable with babies/toddlers/kids (which I am very accustomed to lol). Finding things that truly work well the first time saves me more time later on soaking/washing it again and again to just to remove one pesky stain.
So you might be looking at Folex (it’s gotten more popular over the years thanks to TikTok) but I’ve been using it all over my home for years, including on our laundry. YES, our laundry! I haven’t had any issues, but if you’re wanting to be cautious you could always test it on a small spot before you go spraying your fave garment. I’ve used it on all of our clothes and it is awesome for lifting tough stains! Three other amazing products that are actually for stains are Fels Naptha, Oxiclean, and Miss Mouth. Miss Mouth actually has taken out butter/oil for us and Fels Naptha has removed stains that were set in after a dryer! They’re real stain removing gems in my opinion!!!
I really love the way this Arm & Hammer detergent smells – I was using Persil pods for a while and really liked them but switched back to this for removing odors with the kids playing sports a few times a week. The Oxiclean dark protect is another fab product that isn’t really talked about much, and keeps our darks staying dark and not washed out/faded.
