I recently shared that within the last few weeks we have gotten Colly transitioned from the mini crib in our room to her crib in her nursery. This transition has been super smooth thanks to Dreamland Baby Co. and their weighted sleep sack. It’s designed to help baby fall asleep faster and stay asleep LONGER. I’ve noticed it’s helped with extending her sleeping stretches where she used to wake as early as 4-5am to now 7, sometimes even 8am!!
It’s gentle weight is less than 10% of the baby’s body weight and is safety certified and doctor approved. What’s great about it too is the weight is evenly distributed from the shoulders to the toes.
Ok so if you’re like me, you’re probably wondering, “what if my baby rolls/stands/sits up – can they use this?” Y E S !!!! The sack does not restrict movement – they can do everything they could do in a non-weighted sleep sack. The medium and large sizes can also be worn backwards for exclusive tummy sleepers. The inner beads are gentle and rounded so they won’t be uncomfortable for baby if they do lay on the weighted side.
We live in the desert (obvi!) and it’s hot year round, but I’m not worried about her being too hot because the fabric the product is made of is super light weight and breathable. Another cool aspect of this design is the two way zippers for easy diaper changes #hallelujah It’s machine washable too so don’t stress over it your baby spits up on it (for those of you with a Colly haha).
