Welcome, Friends!
I’m so glad you’re here! I am Ang – a wife, mom to my 4 miracle C’s, and a business owner living life in the desert of Arizona. I’m really happy you’ve found your way here, and hope you enjoy what I intend to bring to this space! I plan to use this space to share all of my biggest interests in passions – family, home + decorating, food, mom hacks, fashion, organizing, and more! I’ve been tackling mom life the last 8 years and while I’m no expert, I love being able to share things that have helped me along the way. I appreciate this community so much – many of you have been with me from the early days of Curly Q’s which completely blows me away and fills me to the BRIM!
On a more personal note, I’ve been with my husband (met at age 16, started dating at 18, married at 24!) for the last 15+ years and we are pretty opposite, but mesh together so well. He’s my biggest supporter, and without him I wouldn’t have ventured out on my own to start my businesses (this blog too)! We love being outdoors with our kiddos – play sports, hiking, finding new patios to eat on, and swimming! In our ‘spare time’ we like to DIY and do little projects to fix up our home we purchased 6 years ago to make it custom to our family. This process usually entails me coming up with the idea (with his input) and design elements, and him doing the labor 😉 I think we are a pretty good team!
Our boys really threw us into parenthood in 2013-2015. We had them back to back right under two years (Conner and Cole) and our two baby girls came after (Chloe aka “Honey” and Collyns aka Colly). Today, our boys are our biggest motivators to keep going and be the best parents we can be. Our girls are our inspiration to continue to do better in this life and keep building our dreams. They keep us B U S Y, but we really wouldn’t have it any other way! I often say Conner is/was my muse to start CQC, but all 4 of them fuel my creativity. I have a huge desire to make the best memories for them and document it along the way so we can look back on it all one day.
While the topics I mentioned above for the content of this blog may seem ‘on the surface’, I’m definitely far from that. I have experienced my hand of struggles through the last 8 years and I’m not afraid to talk about them – and really, I hope to also share these stories here and encourage you to talk about yours too. In fact, I had a whole line of clothing that celebrated this for women to feel empowered and realize how strong they really are. From infertility, to premature birth and NICU life, to loss with miscarriage and D+Cs, to C-section awareness, to blood clotting disorders – I have been through quite a bit. My family and friends have supported me through, and I also have been able to tap into my inner strength to keep going and stay motivated to keep fighting. My life mottos are, ‘Giving up is not in my vocab’ and ‘Everything will be okay in the end. If it’s not okay, it’s not the end.’ That’s just a little snippet on me, but I am a real person with many layers. While the fun stuff I plan to share on my blog will be a great deal of my content, I will also ALWAYS keep it real and share my truth and journey, too.
I am excited to welcome you all to my new little corner of the internet and hope you find some things that inspire you!
