Wash your veggies + potatoes, do a little chopping, dump everything in the slow cooker and go! Another simple week night meal idea for you all!
Ingredients
1 1/2 lb boneless skinless chicken breast
1 stick salted butter (melted)
1 package of onion soup/dip mix
12 oz fresh green beans
3 c russet or red potatoes (your choice, we make with either!), quartered
salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Place your chicken at the bottom of the crockpot. Add green beans and chopped potatoes, then melted butter and onion mix. Season with salt and pepper. Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 6. Usually half way I’ll check and give it a little stir and maybe add 1-2 tbsp of butter if I think it needs it. I love this because it contains your protein/entree and already has the sides built in!!! Perfect and yummy meal for a school night, and not too many dishes to clean afterwards since everything cooks together!
