This post is sponsored by BabbleBoxx, but all thoughts and opinions are my own.
Lately all four of our kiddos are growing so fast, and I find myself rewinding our days in my head and jotting down little notes in my phone to remember later. The quote, “enjoy the little things in life, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things!” always sticks with me. Not every day is perfect or stress free, but I always remind myself some day, these will be the good old days! Making memories at home (even in the mundane moments) is super important to me. I’m excited to share some ways we do this with the items that were sent to us in this package from Babbleboxx – and you can shop them individually, too!! They’d also be awesome Easter basket ideas for the upcoming holiday as well!
Disney Hits
Before I jump in and share the physical products, a simple way we make memories at home often is with the Disney Hits Playlist! You can find it wherever you stream music – we LOVE singing along to all of our faves from Encanto, Frozen, Coco, The Little Mermaid, and more! We tell Alexa to “play Disney Hits playlist” and it’s on in a snap and we proceed to have a mini dance party in our kitchen, playroom/loft, and the kids bedrooms’. It is a family friendly playlist with upbeat and safe music for the entire fam. Currently, “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” is on repeat (even Conner and Cole who are 9 and 7 get into it!!) and I catch Honey saying, “Alexa, repeat the song!” haha!
Blue’s Clues & You!
Blue’s Clues & You! has a festive board book that my girls are really enjoying especially for the upcoming Easter holiday. It’s called “Hoppy Easter, Blue!“. It’s great for preschoolers and toddlers as the illustrations really pop and it feeds their imagination! The Blue’s Clues & You! Peek-A-Blue Plush has quickly become Honey’s favorite tag along, and she loves showing her baby sister how when she squeezes Blue’s belly, she talks and plays peek a boo! This is a hands on toy that goes along with the TV show that has content packed with early-childhood curriculum along with catchy music that parents can feel good about. Both of these items would be adorable in an Easter basket this year!
Roller Derby Fun Roll Skates
Our family loooves going to the skating rink, but having our own pair at home will allow us to continue to practice and make memories without even leaving the neighborhood! This Fun Roll pair we received from Roller Derby are not only super stylish (and basically have Honey’s name written all over them!) but they are adjustable and can grow with her as she gets older. They’re designed to have larger back wheels and a low center gravity for more balance….which means a lot less falling! She is doing great on them and it’s been fun letting her skate around the block and I push Colly in the stroller. I’m looking forward to getting the boys (and eventually Colly!) a pair so they can all skate together. Right now, you can save 15% off on Roller Derby‘s website with the code SPRING15 thru June 30.
Soundiculous
Our boys are very much into family games right now, and I am here for it!!! Soundiculous is a game that totally caters to their competitive AND silly nature! Gather your family around the table and see who can get the most points by guessing the ridiculous sound WITHOUT words – just noises! No miming or gestures though, which makes it even more challenging and fun!! We basically laugh almost the entire time trying to guess what the other person is trying to imitate with sounds only. It’s easy to play and portable, so you can take it to your next game night with friends and family or bring it on a trip to pass the time while traveling! Add it to your kiddos Easter basket this holiday and watch them light up with excitement when it’s their turn to be the ridiculous sound maker! 😉
Little Live Pets
Do you have a little one who in an animal or creature lover?! This toy is for them!!! Sunny the Bright Light Chameleon from Little Live Pets in an interactive light up pet that features play and personality!! When Honey first saw it, she couldn’t get her hands on it fast enough. She gets a kick out of it every time Sunny’s body lights up, changes, and she lets out a happy sound! Sunny the Bright Light Chameleon has over 30 sounds and reactions and can even detect beat! Play a little music and watch her flash to the beat of the music and what’s even cooler – when she’s super happy, she sings too!! Her body is squishy which is a sensory enjoyment for kids, and her feet are suction so she can stick to any surface! Honey’s imagination has been on another level when she’s playing with Sunny and getting her to react has brought her tons of entertainment as well.
MyWish4U
Any time I can let my boys know I’m thinking of them even when we’re not together – I try to! Which is why I really loved these sweet Lunch Notes From Me® Zany Facts & Zingers from MyWish4U! They are clever tear off lunch notes for kids that contain an interesting fact and a funny joke. They’re not just for lunchboxes though, they’re great to read around the dinner table to connect and help strengthen relationships. There are 101 colorful notes and the backside is blank, so you can scribble down a little personal note to your kiddo to let them know you’re thinking of them (or that you hope they have a great day!) I like putting them into my boys’ backpacks and if we have something to look forward to or upcoming, I’ll write that as a little reminder to them too. I know one day I’ll look back on these memories and I hope they remember that Mama did this for them and have their own memories attached to it!
MyWish4U also makes these thoughtful and funny Holiday Notes From Me!® Easter Facts & Funnies which are awesome for Easter gift for kids. Read them together during Easter lunch or dinner for some festivity each year, too. These come with 50 unique tear off notes and also feature a blank backside for personalization as well. MyWish4U isn’t just for parents to pass off though – teachers, caregivers, and grandparents can all get in on the fun and connection these lend to brighten any special child’s day.
