The first quarter of 2022 is officially over! Does anyone else feel like this year is moving by in a blink!? I know the cliche is always repeated – but it’s so true. Each day can feel so long, but then the entire year is over before we know it.
Fam Updates
Family-wise, this month, was go go go. C is working a lot longer hours which has me like a tornado swirling around our house, playing 4 vs. 1, haha. I am so thankful that when he is home, he is so present. He’s also still made time to help me get the boys (Conner) to and from tutoring and orthodontic appointments. Which, speaking of, Conner GOT HIS BRACES ON! I wasn’t ready, but he was so excited. Now that the uncomfortableness is setting in a little more, he’s not as thrilled but he is feeling really cool and confident in them, which makes me so happy. I know his smile is going to be even more stunning once he’s done with these! Speaking of teeth updates, Colly is forever teething…and now cutting 3 molars. So that’s been fun 😅
The kids had spring break within the first 7 days of this month, which was pretty enjoyable! We were able to our scooters, go to the jump park, got froyo, play board games, and made some fun breakfasts (which I plan to share here on the blog in the next month!)
We also had that stomach bug that I keep hearing about all over – I guess there’s a really savage one making it’s way around and it definitely did a number on our family too. It took down me too (C was the only one left standing, which- thank. goodness.) but on a positive note, it was less than 24 hours for all 5 of us. Not fun having 4 puking kids, all one after the other, but we got thru it.

We are officially underway with our loft refresh. We just finished up a fun wallpaper project – reveal coming soon. C also completed the valances he’s been working on since December and they’re finally ready to be installed! I’m really looking forward to sharing it with you all here.
YouTube!
I’m still working on our YouTube channel. I have about 4 videos in my drafts, but I need to finish editing them. The way they were shot were not in a format suitable for YouTube, but I’m learning as I go and figure I’ll share this too! So just keep in mind there will be some growing pains/learning experiences with it, but I hope you guys will enjoy the content I bring over there too.
What’s To Come
We are hoping to book a family vaca soon – it’s been almost 3 years since we traveled outside of Arizona (for the kids and I anyway! C has had to for work). I’m looking forward to getting that figured out and will of course, share with you all when that time comes too! We grabbed some new luggage that I shared on IG last week – still has a $30 off coupon and comes with 3 pcs in pretty spacious sizes!
