Saving time in the kitchen is something I’m always trying to chase. Not that I want to cut corners, but there are so many cool things out there that really can reduce the amount of time you spend on clean up, cooking, and overall aesthetics.
For today’s Mom Hack Monday, I wanted to quickly share a couple of things I’ve added to our kitchen in the new year! These have definitely been a hack for me and I’m all about it!! Everything will be linked for easy shopping!
Under The Sink Mat
I think this is such a cool find (and probably underrated!). After one too many pipe leaks and other “spills”, I decided it was time to protect my bottom part of the cabinet under my kitchen sink. These liners are waterproof and also washable – amazing, right? They also come in a variety of prints and colors which I love too. We cut ours to fit perfectly around the edges and trim.
Cord Hider
Hide all of those cords that are trailing behind your appliances with these nifty contraptions! They come in a 2 pack for a super reasonable price and I just love how clean it looks on my counter tops without cords coming out from every direction.
Appliance Sliders
OK, THESE ARE GENIUS!! I just can’t contain my excitement about these, haha. My mixer is sooo heavy and sliding it back and forth while I’m baking is a serious workout. These sliders go right on the bottom of your appliance (on the ‘feet’) and now I can easily move my mixer with one hand even! Game changer!!! You can also use these on coffee makers, pressure cookers, etc! Basically anything that’s heavy that you struggle to slide across your counter – these are a total must! I also want to mention I feel like these add an element of safety when it comes to moving heavy appliances — I’m always worried I’m going to drop/break/scratch something and with these, that worry is gone!
Extendable Strainer for Fruit/Veggie Washing
After I soak and wash my fruits and veggies, there’s always a little bubble residue that requires an extra spray. I love this strainer as it fits any sink, and I can add my food to it and give it one more last spray before they’re ready to dry.
